Crazy Looks: Mako of TLOK inspired

Earlier today I posted the look that was inspired by the cutesy earthbender Bolin of Team Avatar, and now I’m gonna show you the look inspired by Mako, or as like to call him, Mako Suave. Get it? Rico Suave? Mako is Suave? err… nevermind.

Here’s Mako… and all I can say is that he is one tough hot guy. HOT SIZZLING HANDSOME guy.

May I say that I have a crush on this dude… (and can you blame Korra for falling in love with him??) Well, aside from General Iroh anyways… Why is it that all Fire Nation dudes are usually sooooooo gwapings?? ๐Ÿ™‚ (grandson of Zuko okay not the dragon of the west..) Okay, so I designed the look for Mako to be something representing fire and lightning, since it is what he can do, and I tried to do it in a way that makes my eyes look as awesome as his allure.

ON WITH THE LOOKS!!! :))

I already did a couple of The Legend of Korra inspired looks, one is Korra and the other one is my post earlier today, Bolin inspired…I drew this one like 2 weeks ago along with the Bolin inspired look, and It’s basically a fire and lightning type of look… ๐Ÿ™‚ The pictures you are about to see are taken with flash because it was already night time when I did this look… ๐Ÿ™‚

ย I lined my undereyes with a blue shadow and my homemade primer, and I even made a little lightning thing on the end but the flash washed it out… but you can see it in my next full face photos… ๐Ÿ™‚

ย For the lips I used a lip balm, a deep red matte lipstick and topped it off with a gold colored eyeshadow for more oomph. :))

The products I used in this look are similar with the ones I used on the Bolin look, but with different colors..

So what’s your favorite look so far? And I’m interested, who is your favorite Avatar character? ๐Ÿ™‚

cheers!

FOTD: Korra inspired look

I have and always will be an Avatar Fan. No, it’s not those tall blue guys on the cinemas, I’m talking about the cutesy Avatar, Aang and his successor, Korra. I have been drawing a lot of eyelooks lately that resemble the accessory that (for me) Korra is most noticeable, which is her arm bandana, or the cloth pattern on her arm.. it has the color scheme and pattern fit for someone who is from the Southern Water Tribe, and I was inspired by it…

The new Avatar- Korra of the Southern Water Tribe

The pattern I’m talking about is the blue and white triangles with blue spots.. ๐Ÿ™‚
And here’s my drawing, then my take on the makeup..

Unfortunately, because of the lack of “drama” from the lashes and no liner, it wasn’t as cool asย  expected it to be, so just today I decided to try it out again with a few tweaks… and this is what came out. ๐Ÿ™‚

I do hope that you can see the pattern I did on the lower eyes… I ran out of primer that’s why it had an uneven color.(boo!!! :[ ) Unfortunately, I have no shots of my eyes closed so I’m really sorry bout that..

And here is for the full face… I used the Long and Curl mascara I got from Saizen last sunday, will do a haul post soon enough.. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Ngayon ko lang nakita kung ano yung malaking pagkakaiba na naibibigay ng mascara! hihi (It’s only now I discovered the big difference of using a mascara.. ) Talk about being naive. hahaha

ย  I also did Katara’s Hair loopies, something to be reminiscent of the Southern Water Tribe. ๐Ÿ™‚ย
The blue lips is something that I have always wanted to do for a long time, but given my restrictions, what I did is use lipgloss then top with blue eyeshadow… Just wait till I get hold of the dollface cosmetics lip palette… ๐Ÿ™‚
Anyways for this look I only used the Careline 8 eyeshadow and blusher duo, a generic lipgloss, Saizen’s Long and Curl Mascara(review soon to follow), and Saizen’s Ever Bilena 2 way cake in Ecru..

This one is photoshopped, just because I wanted to enhance the pigments more. ๐Ÿ™‚
So what do you guys think is better? the first or the second one? ๐Ÿ™‚

I do hope that you liked my post, and please do comment below if you think I can improve on something… thanks so much! I also hope that you get encouraged to see the legend of Korra… It’s as awesome as it’s predecessor, The Legend of Aang… And that I can assure you. ๐Ÿ™‚

thanks for reading!
